8. 2 of the housekeeping carts were found without sanitizer. Sanitizer solution is required to be used after cleaning the vanity and lavatory. Sanitizer was brought to the carts during inspection. 1.0
13. Hot water temperatures throughout the hotel were very inconsistent, some rooms had sufficient hot water temperatures but most did not. Water temperatures ranged from 97-124F. Temperature range for hot water in guestrooms is 116-128F. Adjust water heaters, mixing valves, etc so that the hot water is meeting minimum requirements in all rooms. 1.5
17. Comment: The grate on the 2nd floor ice machine is worn, replace worn grate. 0.0
20. The AC unit filters on a majority of the units checked need cleaning, also some units were found to have debris in the vents; more frequent thorough cleaning is needed on the guestroom AC units. 0.5
30. The storage rooms on most floors had storage on the floor, storage should be off the floor, on shelves or in cabinets or should be movable to easy cleaning and allow for inspection for pests. In the 2nd floor linen storage, the opening where the AC unit was removed needs to be properly sealed so that there is no access for pests from outside. 1.5
32. Comment: One housekeeping cart was found with clean linens next to chemical spray bottles, clean linens are to be protected from contamination. Make sure to keep enough space between chemicals and clean linens or install a barrier on the cart between the chemicals and linens. 0.0
