The two room refrigerators had interior air temperatures between 51-55 degrees F. A cold food storage temp. of 45 degrees F. or less is required. Verify refrigerator/coolers are placed on the coldest temp. setting. Do not over stack refrigerators to prevent proper cold air circulation within. Example: Boxes of crystal light drink packs on the top shelves of the refrigerator. Have the refrigerators/coolers serviced to verify that both are functioning properly. Do not store food items that can spoil in the refrigerators until repairs are completed. Examples milk, dairy, or luncheon meats. If student lunch boxes are to be stored in the refrigerators have parents place ice packs in these lunch boxes. This should be done until refrigerator repairs are completed and both coolers are maintaining proper cold food holding temperatures of 45 degrees F. or less.
