General Comments
Building One/A is scheduled for connection to city of Raleigh Municipal Water supply by early October 2024. This building is currently on a private well water supply. If the school building has not been connected to City of Raleigh Municipal water supply by the projected date a bacteriologic water sample from the well water supply will be collected and tested by this department prior to the end of 2025. Documentation of connection to the municipal water supply must be provided to Wake County Environmental Health Division for proper data and State records.

Cleaning chemicals including aerosol spray cans of Lysol and Clorox wipes should be stored in areas not accessible to students. Examples: Store these chemicals in closed or locked cabinets and closets. Facility well water samples for chemistry including lead were taken by Guido N. Carrara, a private contractor on June 26, 2023. New classroom wing currently under construction must be inspected for sanitation and safety by Wake County Environmental Services before occupancy by students. Call 919-868-9245 to schedule this sanitation inspection. This sanitation inspection should be scheduled after construction has been completed and occupancy has been approved by the local municipal building inspections department but prior to move in by students.

The septic system for the church campus must be checked by Wake County Environmental Services On Site Waste Water Division prior to occupancy of new school wing into existing church building. This is required to verify that the existing septic system has the capacity to hold and treat extra wastewater created from this expanded use. Contact Jill Perkins the director of septic systems installations and repair at 919-868-6410 to schedule an inspection of the church campus septic system. The new school wing will also require an initial sanitation inspection prior to occupancy by students and staff. This sanitation inspection should be completed after renovation work, septic system approval, and building inspection approval for occupancy but prior to move in by students. General Comments
Facility is on a private well for water supply. The facility well was inspected by Glen Shoemaker with the Wake County Environmental Services Wells Program to verify proper construction requirements. The well water supply was also sampled for bacteriological contaminants by the Wake County Environmental Services Wells program on July 06, 2021. These samples were tested by the Wake County Lab and were found to be clear of bacteriological contaminants. Initial sanitation inspection of new school facility completed.
