No SANITIZER available on any carts -or- in the Laundry Room. The lavatory, its handles, faucet, and vanity shall be washed using an all purpose cleaner and rinsed daily. A SANITIZER shall be applied to the lavatory and vanity and allowed to AIR-DRY. Eco Lab was contacted and came to install a spray bottle filler and provide sanitizer for use in the guest rooms. Training session will be held tomorrow for the house keepers so they know how to use the products properly.

Red and Brown vinyl linen cart are used interchangeably. Red should be designated for Dirty/used linen and Brown for clean linen. Additional linen carts are needed. Determined today there should be at least 9 nine carts designated for used linen.

Maid Carts have cup lids and paper covers exposed. Covers should be stored in plastic sleeves and inverted. . Broom is stored across the top of one cart so that it is on the drinking glasses and lids. Store broom in designated "dirty" portion of maid cart. Toilet brush is stored on the top of another cart (where glasses and covers are stored). Toilet brushes shall be stored in designated area. Employee Beverages need to be stored in separate area (likely on the bottom shelf). On one cart, clean towels are stacked against the vacuum cleaner. Side with the vacuum cleaner should be the "dirty" side. Spray Bottles of chemicals and cleaners need to be stored in designated locations, away from drinking glasses, etc. New bleach gel appears to have mixed with water and is mislabeled in a spray bottle. Properly use and label chemicals. *All carts should be organized.

The housekeepers on the top two floors were using brown linen carts for dirty linen, and blue carts for clean linen. On the two floors below that, the blue carts were used for dirty linen. Decide on a color coding system and make sure the same color is always used for clean or dirty linen.

(1)All storage in storage rooms should be on shelves, carts with wheels or racks high enough to sweep and mop under or items could be stored on a base built like a proper cabinet bottom, sort of like the bottom shelf in the linen room. (2) The front on the fourth floor ice machine is partly open. (3)Some of the caulk in the showers has molded, such as room 414. (4) Curtain pull rod is stained in room 506. Clean or replace it. (5)Clean up around the garbage and cardboard dumpsters.
