Gate to pool from playground is locked and key was not available. There is another gate 6 feet away from this one. If gate is not self closing, have adjusted to be self closing, permanently welded shut, or remove and replace with approved fencing, in order to receive a permit next year.

Comment: The gate from the playground into the pool enclosure is catching the wind and was not properly self-latching from 1" open , it does not appear to be an emergency exit so it was zip-tied during inspection, CPO was advised to contact the Apex Fire Marshall about whether or not this is an emergency egress. If it is found that this gate is an emergency egress, the gate will have to be adjusted so that it will self-latch from fully open and 1" open.
