In rooms 329,311,237 and a few other rooms the water temped above 128 degrees F. Water temperatures for lodging establishments should be between 116 and 128 degrees F. Facility does have two water heaters and they need to be slightly adjusted to meet water requirements. This violation was noted on the last inspection.

Multiple dishes were found with stains and residue remaining on them. Dish washer is not sanitizing dishes, the max temperature of the dish machine was 116 degrees F. Unless the dish machine is low temperature a minimum temperature of 160 degrees F should be reached for effective sanitizing. Facility uses quat sanitizer and has been advised to used the additional sink across the dish machine to fill with the quat sanitizing solution and place the dishes in the mix for at least 2 minutes and then allow to air dry until the dish machine can be fixed. At the beginning of the inspection the rinse aid solution was missing and not cycling through the dish machine. (Corrected during inspection) The metal shelving that clean dishes and utensils are being stored on is dusty and needs to be wiped clean.

Rooms 329,303,217,100, and others were found with variations of torn and ripped bed skirts and mattress covers. Sheets were found stained as well as pillowcases. A couple of mattress pads were also found with stains and hair follicles.

In multiple rooms minor damage was noted to pieces of furniture and countertops. Microwave plate and bottom refrigerator door was missing out of two rooms. Manager stated that previous occupants had damaged/broken those items and they are replacing them. The freezers and microwaves in a couple of rooms also needed cleaning.

General Comment: Found there to be no sanitizer on any of the housekeeping carts. After cleaning, a sanitizer shall be applied to the lavatory and vanity and the sanitizer shall be left to air dry. Facility has a sanitizer dispenser that appears to have not been used in some time due the there being no sanitizer concentrate in the dispensing hose. The sanitizer was checked and dispenses at the proper concentration (150-400 ppm quat ammonia).
