EHS looked up EPA numbers and found cleaner to be 10 minute contact time and for residential use only. Oxivir Tb disinfectant in storage room found and EPA number listed 1 minute contact time. EHS recommends using Oxivir Tb as disinfectant. Bathing facilities shall be provided, maintained and kept clean. Shared bathing equipment that has contact with patient`s skin shall be cleaned with detergent and an EPA registered hospital disinfectant between patient uses. The HVAC unit vents and filters in all rooms checked needed cleaning, the filters were dusty and there was some cleaning needed on the vent covers and inside of the vent duct work. In room 1038, there was some exposed metal from the ventilation system that had excess condensation and was dripping onto the floor, insulation may be needed on the duct work to prevent condensation from forming.

The plastic utensils were inverted with the handles up and the extra cups were removed that were stacked too high.
