15A NCAC 18A .2818 LAVATORIES- I recommend plumbing for an additional handwashing sink within the Pre-K classroom. Currently, the classroom has access to only one handwashing sink, which is used as both the bathroom and classroom sink. Due to the volume of students, this creates difficulty in adequate handwashing time and child monitoring during activity changes and bathroom time.

Noted a few cardboard toy blocks were torn and damaged during time of inspection. Person in charge stated they recenty recieved new sensory blocks are were working to replaced out all the old worn ones currently in circulation. Discussed ensuring all toys and furniture are kept in good repair.

the hand wash sink in the class room is only reading 70 degrees. Water temps shall be in the range of 80-110 degrees for hand sinks. A work order has been placed a couple of times to resolve this issue.

At this time there is not a sanitizer/disinfectant test kit on site. Approved sanitizer/disinfectant test kits shall be on site for checking sanitizer and disinfectant solutions. The test kits have been ordered.
