Water Heater supplying the 7th floor is questionable. Water was run for several minutes before obtaining hot water. In room 703, both the sink and shower were run for several minutes and the maximum water temperature achieved at the sink was 110 degrees. (The shower eventually reached the minimum of 116F)
Three rooms found to have hot water below approved temperature range. Repairs being actively made to one water heater at time of inspection, which may be contributing to low water temperatures. Remaining water heaters appear to be working correctly and are set at temperatures which should provide water of approved temperatures to rooms. Have workers complete work on out-of-service water heater and verify that this corrects water temperature in rooms. Thank you for your proactive maintenance on these water heaters.

Water temperatures observed in range of 110-136 degrees F at guest rooms throughout. Approved water temperatures for guest rooms is 116-128 degrees F. Adjust water temperatures and recirculating system to ensure proper water temperatures throughout. Follow up visit to be performed in 30 days to check compliance with water temperature requirements. Note: water very slow to rise in temperature at low numbered rooms on each floor (examples: 202, 803, 300) and these rooms less likely to reach proper water temperature. Rooms with mid-range numbers (716, 212, 509) tended to run at 128-132 degrees F. High numbered rooms tended to run within approved temperature range or slightly above.
