In the can wash/mop room, there is a heavy metal catch basin in the drain that becomes clogged easy and is currently being removed almost daily to be cleaned, there is also heavy mineral build up that is further clogging the drainage holes. If the basin is not cleaned out, the water drains very slowly or not at all. If the catch basin is not required, it should be removed and replaced with a slotted drain cover that will allow water to drain through it easily. 0.0
44. There is a lot of trash outside of the dumpster in the dumpster area. Cafeteria manager stated that the custodial staff leave the dumpster lids open after they use the dumpsters in the afternoon after the cafeteria staff has left for the day. Keeping the lids closed will prevent spillage during trash pick up and will help prevent water, animals, and other pests from getting into the dumpster.
