5-205.11; Priority Foundation; The one kitchen hand sink and bathroom hand sink have a water temperature of 136F degrees. This water cannot be adjusted by the user due to a mixing valve. I was also told the kitchen bathroom toilet water gets hot. Hot water throughout the kitchen is extremely hot (163F). Try turning the hot water tank down to 130F degrees and it may adjust to a proper temperature throughout the kitchen/school. The water is too hot for staff to properly wash their hands. Hand sink water should not exceed around 116F degrees as a comfortable temp. A handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use. Pf R- Mentioned on past inspections. VR- Inspector will return within 10 days to check correction of the water temperature. Full points deducted today. The hot water issues must be resolved soon.
