This pool must remain closed until the local and state closure orders currently in effect as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic are terminated.
No night swimming.
Pool staff and patrons are strongly encouraged to comply with the most current CDC guidance concerning social distancing related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
15A NCAC 18A .2528 FENCES- observed one of the entrance`s gate, not able to self-close properly. Pedestrian access gates shall open outward away from the pool and shall be self-closing and have a self-latching device except where a gate
attendant and lifeguard are on duty. The operator adjusted gate so that it can self-close properly.

15A NCAC 18A .2530 SAFETY PROVISIONS- no "CHILDREN SHOULD NOT USE THE SWIMMING POOL WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION" and "ADULTS SHOULD NOT SWIM ALONE". When a swimming pool does not have at least one lifeguard on duty, a sign shall be posted with legible letters of at least four inches in height stating: "WARNING-NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY." In addition there shall be signs legible from all bather entrances with a minimum letter size of one inch stating: "CHILDREN SHOULD NOT USE THE SWIMMING POOL WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION", and: "ADULTS SHOULD NOT SWIM ALONE". Such signs shall be mounted permanently. Signs prohibit pets & glass need to be posted, but no heights requirement, and no exact wording is required. Operator posted the proper signs up during the inspection (Corrected during inspection).
