Irrigation faucet provides a foothold at 31 inches. Fencing must have a minimum of 45 inches between all horizontal members/footholds. Install a solid barrier (or one with vertical members that are less than 1.75 inches, such as mesh) so that it extends 18 inches to either side of the faucet. Make sure to not create another stephold/vertical member with the installed barrier. Gate nearest guardrail was locked and was not checked for self-closing. This gate must remain locked at all times.
