No demerits at time of inspection. Seasonal pool permit issued for 2018. Seasonal pool permit expires October 31 2018. Pool is permitted for daylight use only. No night time swimming. Recommend installing an extra lock and chain on service gate entrance to reinforce existing service gate lock.
Bleach, glass cleaner and paint cans stored with and above pool chemicals. Store only pool chemicals in pump room. This was corrected during inspection. The chemical room door is rusted heavily on the vent and is crumbling apart, small rusty area on door beneath this vent. A pool sign was installed in this area to cover up this spot so this was corrected during inspection. Recommend a new door.
Several deck chairs are too close to the pool. There must be a minimum of 6 feet of pool deck clearance.

The vent fan cover in the chemical room is very dusty, clean the fan cover so that adequate ventilation is provided.

General Comments
While calling 911, there is some interference on the caller side that sounded like men speaking spanish. 911 operator was able to hear call but heard some static. EHS spoke with Southeastern Pool Phone during inspection and a technician was going to stop by and check the phone and install a radio filter.
Found there to be no weir in one of the skimmers. Be sure weirs are in place.

The pool is 24.5 feet wide at its widest point. The throw rope was 35 feet in lenght. The throw rope should be 1.5 times longer than the pool is wide which would be 36.75 feet. The rope was tied another way to reach the proper length during the inspection. The throw rope is now the proper length.

Found the lounge chairs to be less than 6 feet from the edge of the pool. There must be at least 6 feet of clear walking space around the pool's edge.

Found the letters for the pool rules sign which contains the warning statements of "CHILDREN SHOULD NOT USE THE SWIMMING POOL WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION" and "ADULTS SHOULD NOT SWIM ALONE" to have letters of slightly less than 1 inch. These warning signs must have minimum letter size of one inch. A new sign was provided during the inspection.
There were chairs that were too close to the edge of the pool. There must be at least 6 feet of clearance around the entire pool perimeter. Chairs were moved.

Phone number on emergency phone sign was incorrect. CPO wrote in correct number during inspection and will make a more permanent sign with the correct number.

GC #25: Exhaust fan cover in chemical room needs cleaning. GC #27: There was a hose down in the back wash pit, it was on the floor of the pit. Make sure to keep hose out of pit. Need to provide a least a 2 inche air gap above the flood rim of the back wash pit.
