Cleaning chemicals, aerosol spray cans, and flammable chemicals should be stored in areas not accessible to students in the school building. These chemical products should be stored in locked cabinets, closets, or stock rooms. Keep children away from area of outside construction on the church building walkway. This should be done to avoid possible injuries from trip and fall hazards.

A new athletic facility building is currently under construction on campus. A school building sanitation inspection must be completed by Wake County Environmental Services after construction is finished but before occupancy by school students and staff. This sanitation inspection should be scheduled and completed after building occupancy has been approved by City of Raleigh Building Inspectors and after the fire safety inspection approval has been granted by the City of Raleigh Fire Marshall's office. The sanitation inspection should then be completed prior to move in by the school. Store aerosol spray cans of products like Lysol disinfectant and air fresheners in areas only accessible to staff and out of reach of students. Example: Aerosol spray cans can be stored in closed or locked cabinets. Sewer gas odor is present in the men's restroom. Cleaning staff should pour warm soapy water down floor drains frequently to prevent the floor drain pipes from drying out and allowing gases and odors from the sewer to enter the building.
The soap dispenser in the boys hall bathroom was almost empty. Keep ample supplies of soap and paper towels available at all bathroom hand wash sinks to allow for proper handwashing for both students and staff.

Pressure wash playground equipment next to building. Equipment is covered with mold and algae growth. Grass in field areas around large playground are in need of mowing. Remove building debris from grounds adjacent to school building and playgrounds.
Repair the rusted base of the exit door in classroom # two. Hole to the exterior of building is present at the bottom of this door. Recommend installation of a kick plate at the interior bottom of this door to seal the hole.
B) The kindergarten classroom and hall restrooms do not have individual towels or other approved hand drying devices. Recommend using wall mounted paper towel bar or other paper towel holder that will allow for pulling off individual towels.

There is a very strong urine odor in the boys restroom. The floor tile/grout around the urinals and toilets should be mopped at least once a day (more if possible) with an odor ban floor cleaner to eliminate this problem.

Do not use play area where wooden play structures are located. Area needs to be leveled and holes filled. Most of the equipment is unsafe due to loose metal and boards. Recommend replacing with non-wood equipment and using a fall barrier underneath the equipment such as mulch or poured rubber. Replace vent cover on the end of old school building to keep rodents out.
