Only items related to bathroom use and for diapering or changing student clothing should be kept in class bathrooms. Mice droppings and a dead mouse were present in the drawers beneath the stove in the special need class kitchen # 117. The stove should be cleaned frequently of food debris that can attract pests. Recommend pest control measure be taken to prevent rodent infestations in this kitchen. Pest control should also be required to follow up on traps placed for rodents. The dead mouse found was in an old glue trap that had not been checked on for quite some time. A thorough cleaning of the stove should be completed A.S.A.P. The water pressure needs adjusting at the water fountains in Rooms 206, 208, 303, 2319, 2303 and at the tall water fountain by bathroom 2314. Only the front buttons work on the short water fountain by bathroom 2314. Water fountains must be in good repair and have enough water pressure to create an arc that prevents water from splashing out of the draining area and prevents mouth contact with spout. Please have the water pressure adjusted at the water fountains.
